Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant Job in Salford

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to support a young boy in Year 3 who requires assistance with behavioural difficulties in a Salford based Primary School.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual support to the child, helping to develop strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the child with behavioural difficulties in a one-to-one setting
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour
  • Work closely with the teaching staff to ensure the child's needs are met
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with behavioural difficulties
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Ability to start immediately
  • Availability for the full academic year
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and overseas police clearances (if applicable)
