We are seeking a talented and motivated Bid Writer to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a meticulous approach to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing persuasive and high-quality responses for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and case studies to secure new business opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
• Ensuring the timely preparation of documentation for bid submissions within a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Improving existing content in the bid library and creating new case studies for forthcoming projects, while also revising current materials.
• Maintaining company brand standards to ensure all submissions reflect our core values.
• Staying updated on customer expectations and market trends to introduce innovative ideas and approaches to our bidding process.
• Providing assistance to the business development team as required, in alignment with the overall business strategy.

Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrated experience in bid writing.
• Proven capability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant bids and proposals in a professional setting.
• Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a conscientious approach to work.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
• Outstanding writing and communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.
• Willingness to adjust work hours occasionally to meet tender deadlines.

Essential Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in bid writing within the construction or social housing sectors.
• Proficiency in IT, particularly in MS Word.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• APMP foundation qualification.
