About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at the Haywood Rheumatology Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and management in all areas of Rheumatology
  • Lead and contribute to clinical research, including clinical trials and outcome studies
  • Teach and mentor undergraduate medical students and contribute to postgraduate education programs
  • Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons and medical specialists to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement service improvements and medical management strategies
Person Specification
  • Full GMC Registration and GMC Licence to Practice
  • Medical Qualification and MRCP or equivalent
  • PhD, MSc, MD, or other higher degree (desirable)
  • Clinical expertise in Rheumatology and relevant training
  • Considerable clinical experience in all areas of Rheumatology and experience leading teams
