Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Mobile Electrical Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive electrical issues across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and fault finding.
  • Carry out electrical testing and inspection, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations (18th Edition).
  • Ensure that all electrical systems are maintained to a high standard and in compliance with legal and safety requirements.
  • Update compliance documentation via a tablet and provide accurate job/quote updates through the internal CAFM system.
  • Support out-of-hours work as necessary for tasks that require minimal occupancy (e.g., distribution board maintenance, emergency light testing).
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in maintaining electrical systems, including distribution boards, emergency lighting, and testing.
  • Knowledge of general building services, with a focus on electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Level 2 or 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Strong fault-finding abilities on electrical installations and equipment.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Clean DBS check.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and other building services to support multi-skilled requirements.
  • Knowledge of other trades (plumbing, basic mechanical) to assist where required.
