Witham Lodge, a facility operated by The Salvation Army, provides accommodation for individuals over the age of 18 facing homelessness.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Assistant to become a part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our staff, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for our residents. Your duties will include a variety of cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying waste bins, and preparing vacant rooms for new occupants.
The ideal candidate(s) will possess:
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team to address health and safety concerns
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
• The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
• A commitment to confidentiality in accordance with policy
• The capability to maintain accurate records of completed tasks to support the services offered at the facility
• A thorough approach to ensuring all scheduled tasks are accomplished
• A diligent attitude towards completing checklists as required
• Punctuality and a professional appearance
• Willingness to participate in necessary training
• Adherence to COSHH regulations, ensuring the proper use and storage of cleaning agents and materials
• A positive and non-judgmental demeanor
