Fire and Security Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching our field-based engineers to complete minor works and maintenance visits.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our National Account Managers to meet customer expectations and deliver exceptional service.
- Attend regular meetings with key clients to enhance internal and external working relationships and ensure a clear understanding of our processes.
- Complete daily checklists and maintain an audit trail of activities, reporting back to the DRS/Scheduling Supervisor.
- Proactively monitor engineer activity to ensure timely dispatch and attendance, and monitor job completion throughout the day.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineers, stores, and RSM teams to ensure all field-based activities are actioned accordingly.
- Add clear notes to our scheduling software outlining next steps and deadlines.
- Update client portals and helpdesks in line with specific account instructions.
- Answer customer calls within 3 rings and process phone and email messages within SLA.
- Have a strong understanding of geographical regions and engineer coverage.
- Schedule all work within designated areas in line with SLA using our Scheduler+ software.
- Book works with sites in accordance with customer and site requirements.
- Process orders to ensure all work is completed on time for invoicing.
- Proactively manage workload and ensure areas are clear of jobs at the end of each shift.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years' experience in a scheduling or planning role, preferably with experience in scheduling field-based colleagues. Familiarity with in-house and external systems and databases is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to workload management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
