Fire and Security Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team at Marlowe Fire & Security. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching Minor Works Engineers to complete tasks and maintenance visits in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our National Account Managers to meet customer expectations and ensure excellent customer service.
- Attend meetings with key clients to enhance internal and external working relationships and ensure a clear understanding of our processes.
- Complete daily checklists and maintain an audit trail of activities, reporting back to the DRS/Scheduling Supervisor.
- Proactively monitor engineer activity to ensure early dispatch and attendance of first jobs, and monitor throughout the day to ensure job completion.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with engineers, stores, and RSM to ensure all FA calls are actioned accordingly.
- Add clear notes to Cash (Cash4Windows) outlining what happens next and when.
- Update client portals and helpdesks in line with specific account instructions.
- Answer all customer calls within 3 rings and retrieve all phone and email messages, processing them accordingly within SLA.
- Have a strong understanding of geographical regions and engineer coverage.
- Schedule all work within designated areas in line with SLA using our Scheduler+ software.
- Book works with sites in accordance with customer and site requirements.
- Process orders to ensure all work is carried out in time to allow invoices to be created.
- Take a proactive approach to managing workload.
- Ensure areas are clear of jobs at the end of each shift by contacting engineers by telephone, passing high-priority jobs for same-day attendance to the Lead Engineer, and allocating remaining jobs for future attendance.
- At least 2 years' experience in a Scheduling/Planning/Coordinating role.
- Experience of scheduling field-based colleagues, such as Engineers, would be an ideal background, but other similar industry experience would be considered and welcomed.
- Familiarity with using in-house and external systems and databases, including Cash4Windows (C4W), would be a significant advantage.
- Proactive approach to managing workload.
- Clear communicator with good telephone manner with colleagues and customers.
- Basic Salary - up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
