Swift Temps (North West) is seeking a skilled Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance activities of the company's operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and systems are maintained to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Coordinate and supervise the repair and maintenance of all production machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within the facility.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Manage the maintenance team, including coordinating repair schedules and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a strong understanding of maintenance operations and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

- A 5-day working week, with Saturdays worked on a rota basis.
