The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolder to join our team in central Scotland, supporting multiple sites and projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for erecting, dismantling, and altering scaffold structures to ensure a safe working environment for our workforce and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with British and European Standards, NASC guidance, and statutory regulations to guarantee the safety of all parties involved.
  • Install anchor ties and other specialist fixings according to manufacturer's recommendations, testing and reporting as required.
  • Inspect basic scaffolds prior to handover to ensure they meet safety standards.
  • Travel to various sites, with some projects requiring overnight stays.

The Person

We are looking for an individual with knowledge of statutory regulations and safety requirements, including SG4, relating to scaffold erection and dismantling. Essential qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of tube & fitting
  • Health and Safety training and certification
  • Minimum 2 years scaffold experience
  • Part 1/ Part 2 Scaffold training
  • NQV Level 2 Scaffolding
  • CISRS Basic Scaffolder card holder

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Layher/ Cuplock/ Haki/ Plettac system scaffold training
