Position Overview

EVera Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent player in the automotive sector, renowned for its cutting-edge vehicle production. We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to enhance our engineering initiatives throughout the sourcing and procurement phases.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Effectively communicating any delays or discrepancies in the procurement schedule.
  • Overseeing supplier performance concerning cost efficiency, product quality, and timely deliveries.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering department to pinpoint opportunities for cost savings.
  • Acquiring goods and services as required, focusing on precision-engineered and composite components.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to identify and execute enhancements in the procurement workflow.

The ideal Procurement Specialist will possess:

  • A proven track record in selecting suppliers based on their capabilities and experience in procuring technical components.
  • A solid understanding of technical schematics and manufacturing processes for both metal and composite parts.
  • MCIPS certification (or in progress) with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical procurement.
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing mechanical and composite components in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks independently and navigate challenges effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling calm and effective communication across all organizational levels.
