We are seeking an experienced and skilled Inspection Team Leader to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a trusted provider of precision components and engineering solutions, we require a highly competent individual to supervise QC Inspectors and ensure workflow through the department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of 3 in conducting inspections of machined components at various stages of the production process using CMM (Aberlink) advanced measuring equipment and tools.
- Verify subcontract operations specified in the Works Order pack.
- Identify and record non-conformance.
- Generate PPQP and FAI reports.
- Previous experience in a sub-contract machine shop environment.
- Great motivational and organisational skills.
- Experience in the aerospace and/or nuclear sector (preferred).
- Ability to competently read and understand manufacturing drawing requirements including geometric tolerances.
- Preferably have CMM programming skills (Software-Aberlink).
- Highly competent and experienced gauge and CMM Inspector.
- Apprentice trained to a minimum of City & Guilds.
- Competence and ability to lead small teams and provide workflow direction & priorities in the department.
- Good eye for detail and methodical approach.
