Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architectural Technician to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As an Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and creative designs for a variety of building types in the residential, leisure, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical drawings using AutoCAD and Sketch Up
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from inception to completion
  • Ensure technical excellence and design flair in all projects
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of construction and materials
  • Stay up-to-date with current Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through excellent written and verbal skills
  • Contribute to company growth and development through innovative ideas and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • CIAT Accredited or working towards depending on level
  • Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural technology or related subject
  • Post-qualification experience in a UK-based Architectural Practice
  • Strong portfolio and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings
  • Confident user of AutoCAD and good working knowledge of Sketch Up
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
