About the RoleThe successful Principal Designer will play a pivotal role in managing the pre-construction phase, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and mitigating risks throughout the design process. You will collaborate with design teams, clients, and contractors to develop comprehensive pre-construction information, conduct risk assessments, and oversee the preparation of construction phase plans.
Key Responsibilities- Leading the Principal Designer function on a variety of projects.
- Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure health and safety standards are integrated into the design process.
- Assisting with the development of design risk registers and providing expert guidance on CDM compliance.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
