Job Title: Director of Drug Substance Operations

Biotech Rec is seeking an experienced Director of Drug Substance Operations to lead our manufacturing operations in the UK. As the head of our UK-based team, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance, and reporting back to our US-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure the CDMO is performing accordingly
  • Review documentation on behalf of the Global Tech Ops team
  • Ensure compliance is maintained throughout the manufacturing process

Requirements:

  • Biologics manufacturing experience is essential
  • Ability to work alone in the UK and report into the US-based team
  • Microbial process experience

About Biotech Rec:

We are a clinical stage biopharma company focusing on rare diseases. Our product has positive results from clinical trials, and we require support in the UK to oversee the start of manufacturing. This role will be the boots on the ground in the UK for our US-based company, requiring you to review all processes and documents while reporting back results to the team.
