Recurrent Energy Power Services UK Job Opportunity:

Recurrent Energy Power Services UK, a prominent player in the utility-scale solar and energy storage sector, is seeking a skilled professional to become a part of their Global Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the month-end closing activities and contribute to the preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Ensure adherence to financial reporting regulations and standards.
  • Lead and mentor finance team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and ensure precision in financial reporting.
  • Implement necessary updates in compliance with accounting regulations.
  • Conduct reviews and execute various accounting tasks.
  • Support tax compliance, project financing, and audit processes.

Treasury Management:

  • Ensure optimal liquidity and manage interest expenses effectively.
  • Propose innovative solutions for process automation.
  • Assist in financial planning and budget management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with leadership responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS standards.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in finance and controlling functions.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT regulations.
  • Experience with SOX compliance is a plus.

Education & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy and project assets is advantageous.
