Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Haringey, North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare engaging and challenging English lessons to meet the needs of all students.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to all students in your classes.
  • Assess and record student progress regularly and report to parents and senior staff as required.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline within the classroom and the wider school environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and develop resources.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
About the Role

This is a long-term temporary position with the possibility of a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English classes to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching English and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
