Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Leeds, UK. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing, documenting, and proposing process and IT solutions for large and complex business areas/projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, understanding, challenging, and translating business requirements for projects, and creating functional and non-functional specifications.
- Capturing and formulating User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Analysing and documenting business processes.
- Documenting workflows and results of business analysis and obtaining sign-off from internal clients on specifications.
- Providing a link between internal customers, development teams, and third parties regarding software functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Fostering relationships with key business stakeholders and aiding in initiative formulation, estimation, and business case creation and development.
- Enhancing and championing the 'BA Vision' of business analysis best practice across the business.
- Actively seeking feedback on and seeking to improve the Change Delivery project framework in liaison with the Programme Office Manager.
Requirements:
- Commercial experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
- Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes.
- Demonstrable experience of writing requirement specifications for Information Systems.
- End-to-end experience of the project lifecycle.
- Proven experience interacting directly with end-users.
- Results-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to be involved in continuously improving Change Delivery governance processes.
- Broad understanding of project management PRINCE2 methodologies and when they are appropriate.
- Experience in or appreciation of an Agile/SCRUM environment.
Education Requirements:
BCS Business Analysis Certification (Practitioner or higher).
