Role Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and committed Senior Cost Consultant to become a vital part of our innovative team.

The successful candidate will possess a solid history of overseeing financial aspects related to construction and civil engineering initiatives, from preliminary assessments to final accounts.

This position is essential for guaranteeing that our projects are executed within financial constraints and uphold the highest quality benchmarks.

Key Duties:

  • Developing financial estimates and budgets for various projects
  • Conducting feasibility assessments to evaluate material, time, and labor expenses
  • Engaging in contract negotiations and scheduling
  • Overseeing the financial management of projects throughout the construction phase
  • Implementing risk and value management strategies
  • Providing guidance on procurement approaches
  • Preparing and reviewing cost analyses for bids
  • Assigning tasks to subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and quality regulations
  • Compiling and delivering reports to clients and stakeholders
  • Performing regular site evaluations and inspections

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Professional accreditation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within relevant sectors
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction techniques and materials
  • Proficient numerical and IT capabilities, including familiarity with relevant software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools)
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently and adhere to deadlines
  • Valid driving license and readiness to travel to various project locations
