About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Manager to join our team at BMS Performance. As a Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for selling a range of electronic components used in various consumer and industrial electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to target new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
- Work closely with Applications Engineers to add real value to clients and drive sales growth.
- Utilize face-to-face meetings and video consultations to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Read technical drawings and specify products into new designs, working on long-term stock plans as prototypes become standard designs.
- Act as a project manager across potentially lengthy sales processes, lasting between 6 months and 3 years on average.
About the Company: Our client is a European leader in the manufacture of electronic components, with a strong sales and technical training program. They have recently invested in new premises in Manchester and are committed to personal development for their employees.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in field sales selling a product.
- Strong new business approach and ability to drive sales growth.
- Desire to learn a technical product and become an expert.
- Ability to have commercial and technical discussions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to read technical drawings.
- Full and clean driving license.
