The Role

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team, based in our Bournemouth or Reading offices.

As a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside the Project Leader to develop designs and produce reports, specifications, and guidance
  • Overseeing testing and commissioning activities
  • Collaborating with clients and other professionals to deliver projects
  • Managing and prioritizing the workload of a project team, including specialist groups
  • Conducting site visits and meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensuring quality standards and technical accuracy are delivered

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering
  • Thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process
  • Previous consultancy experience, with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations
  • Able to lead small to medium-sized projects and take a brief from the project lead on large projects
  • Responsible for the quality of our outputs and able to mentor and supervise junior members of staff
