Senior Building Surveyor

Unlock Your Potential as a Senior Building Surveyor
JLL is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our Building Consultancy department in Nottingham.
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll work closely with our clients, including Aviva, Legal & General, Hammerson, Royal London, Threadneedle, AEW, Rail Pensions, and Abrdn, to provide holistic, commercial advice on a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake building surveys and prepare reports
- Prepare specifications for and administer repair and refurbishment contracts
- Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations and exit strategies
- Prepare planned preventative maintenance plans
- Undertake building reinstatement cost assessments
- Assist with coordination of portfolio instructions and undertake other duties as required
- Build sustainable business links with clients and provide exceptional client service
Requirements:
- Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
- Enthusiasm, proactivity, and self-motivation
- Strong verbal and numerical skills, with comfort in report writing
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Well-presented and excellent communication skills
- MRICS (building surveying) with proven experience, preferably PQE in a commercial consultancy
- Experience of AutoCAD an advantage
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Clean driving license
