About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Front End Lead Developer to join our team at WTW, a leading global business that provides risk management and insurance solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-quality front-end web applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop responsive single-page and progressive web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Work closely with our UX designers to create commercial-quality GUI implementations that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop test frameworks and test cases for web UIs and RESTful services.
  • Collaborate with our Agile/Scrum development team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Architect high-performance and scalable web applications and supporting infrastructures.
  • Coordinate day-to-day development and bug fixing activities.
  • Guide teams in UX strategy, implementations, and reviews.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Angular, C#, and Azure, with experience in software engineering best practices.
  • Strong appreciation of UX principles and ability to iterate commercial-quality GUI implementations.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development lifecycle in a commercial/production environment.
  • Experience with software development ecosystem, including IDEs, version control, test automation/CI, etc.
  • Ability to coordinate high-performance and scalable web application development.
  • Experience in guiding teams in UX strategy, implementations, and reviews.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience using Visual Studio Team Services/Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Experience with SQL Server or other database management systems.
  • Experience with XUnit, Moq, and other unit testing tools.
  • General knowledge of the Insurance Industry.
  • Degree-educated with Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant discipline.
