Position Overview

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Research Coordinator to enhance our exceptional Research team, following a recent internal advancement within the group.

  • You will ensure that the management of funding cycles is effective, organized, and executed to the highest standards.

It is essential that the funding opportunities we provide meet the critical needs of both the research and patient communities.

  • You will be tasked with communicating with applicants, award recipients, and committee members to facilitate key events throughout the grant funding process.

  • You will collaborate with researchers and individuals with lived experiences to coordinate meaningful internal and external public and patient involvement (PPI) through our Research Involvement Network.

About You

  • A solid understanding of research principles and the UK research funding landscape is required.
  • Experience in a scientific or clinical research environment with an undergraduate degree, ideally with a biomedical focus.

  • Familiarity with patient and public involvement and the ability to engage with individuals who have lived experiences.
  • Proven ability to coordinate efforts among diverse and large specialist stakeholder groups.
