Darrington is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Administrator to join our team. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will be responsible for managing mortgage collections, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Engagement: Develop effective questioning and listening skills to discuss customer arrears, identifying root causes and future barriers, while ensuring dialogue aligns with the company's treating customers fairly principles.
- Financial Support: Undertake all aspects of Financial Support in the end-to-end arrears management journey, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full understanding and compliance with the organisation's Risk Management Policies related to your area of responsibility, demonstrating a customer-centric approach in your day-to-day work.
- Coaching and Development: Act as a coach and role model, supporting the development of less experienced team members, and carry out personal development to keep your own skills up to date.
- SLA Achievement: Support achievement of departmental SLAs and ensure any issues/concerns are referred on a timely basis.
- Experience: Recent experience working within a Financial Support environment in secured lending/mortgage services focusing on buy-to-let/residential mortgages is essential.
- Skills: Proven capabilities in the full mortgage collection life cycle, accreditation via any applicable Debt Management certification or Apprenticeship is desirable but not essential, and intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
