Job Overview:

CV Library is seeking a skilled and qualified Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and reactive maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHU) and other mechanical systems within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. AHU Servicing and Maintenance: Perform routine servicing and reactive maintenance on AHU systems, ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency.
  2. Mechanical Plant Operations: Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical plant systems, including pumps, motors, and other day-to-day maintenance tasks, to ensure smooth facility operations.
  3. Preventative Maintenance: Complete all associated mechanical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  4. Mechanical Engineering: Possess City & Guilds training in Mechanical Engineering and apply knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
  5. Plumbing Experience: Demonstrate proficiency in domestic plumbing and apply skills to maintain and repair plumbing systems.
  6. DBS Check: Hold a valid DBS check to ensure compliance with company security protocols.
