Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, ensuring that all works are completed safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for developing and training junior team members and apprentices to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of technicians to ensure the completion of tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and train junior team members and apprentices to excel in their roles.
  • Ensure the completion of the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales.
  • Support the team to respond promptly and positively to service call requests.
  • Prioritise fabric/electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
  • Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise the Line Manager accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is always completed and up to date.
  • Represent Mytime Active in a professional manner and develop good working relationships with internal customers and staff.
  • Provide detailed quotations for the purchase of parts and materials.
  • Undertake any other duties as required to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality services.

Requirements:
  • Previous building maintenance experience with fabric, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing qualifications.
  • Experience working in a similar environment.
  • Apprenticeship and qualification in Building Fabric, Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing City & Guilds or Equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to attend evening and weekend meetings/events when required.
