Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, and digital solutions for freight and transit rail. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of our dynamic team at Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company. We design, manufacture, and test industrial turbochargers for the power generation, marine, and rail traction industries. Your key responsibilities will include leading and managing projects within Manufacturing, defining manufacturing processes for turbocharger components and assemblies, and creating and maintaining supporting documentation. You will also be responsible for NC programming of multi-axis machines, programming of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines, and defining, performing, and implementing investigations into non-conformance. To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of modern machining techniques, problem-solving techniques, and LEAN manufacturing processes. You will also have a good understanding of computer software and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Legal authorization to work in the UK is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas. Please note that we do not accept agency candidate submissions without a formalised agreement with Wabtec Talent Acquisition.
