Key Responsibilities- Supervise a small team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Ensure all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Use the till, take orders, and receive payments, handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Produce weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient team deployment.
- Place orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members, promoting a positive and proactive work environment.
- Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, Health & Safety regulations, and company policies.
- Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with team members, customers, and management.
- Able to comply with legislation and follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Customer service focused, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
- Team player with a can-do attitude, able to work under pressure and maintain a positive demeanor.
- Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
