Deputy Nursing Home Manager Job Description

Purosearch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team in a leading Nursing home in South Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse-qualified individual with a passion for elderly care to take on a senior leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the management team and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Nursing qualification and active PIN (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Nursing home environment
  • Previous leadership or senior experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent clinical skills and awareness of CI/SSSC
