Exciting Opportunity for a Design-Oriented Architect

We are seeking a talented Architect with a passion for design to contribute to a well-established architectural firm in Manchester, known for its innovative approach to both commercial and residential projects.

About the Company: Founded approximately a decade ago, this firm has demonstrated remarkable growth and success in the architectural landscape. The leadership team possesses extensive experience across multiple sectors, having recently expanded their workforce with skilled professionals who share a commitment to the firm’s core design principles.

Project Portfolio: The firm boasts a robust pipeline of exciting projects set to commence in the near future. Their work primarily involves medium to high-rise residential developments, alongside select private residences. Projects are mainly located in urban settings, presenting unique challenges such as managing sensitive sites, including Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings and conservation areas.

Team Expansion: With a dedicated team of approximately 10 to 12 Architects and Designers, the firm is looking to enhance its capabilities by bringing on board a design-focused Architect. Ideal candidates will have between 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.

Career Growth: This position offers significant potential for advancement, with opportunities to progress to a Senior Architect role or even an Associate Director position in a relatively short timeframe.

Candidate Requirements: Applicants should have a background in the residential sector, with preference given to those experienced in medium to high-rise projects. However, candidates with a commercial background are also encouraged to apply. Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, or Microstation software is essential, and training will be provided as necessary.

Compensation: The salary for this position is competitive, offering up to £43,000 per annum.
