Job Summary:

Smart 1 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the entire production process of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets, ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor production processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the production floor and implement quality control measures to maintain high product standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Manager in the Engineering/Manufacturing sector.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with power presses, chemical processes, and other machinery, including guillotine, fly presses, bench drill, and forklifts.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of production management processes, safety standards, and quality control principles.
