About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at M&D Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and practical care and support to vulnerable adults, promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred care plans, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working on a rota basis, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
  • Offer focused support with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and administering medication.
  • Facilitate activities that promote the dignity, independence, and well-being of the individuals we support.
  • Work independently, taking sole responsibility for individuals, ensuring their safety and health are fulfilled.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, as identified by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
