Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director, Product Strategist, Advanced Quantitative Sciences Technology Platforms to join our team at Novartis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced quantitative sciences technology platforms, driving innovation and excellence in our clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for advanced quantitative sciences technology platforms, aligning with business needs and organizational platform strategy.
  • Lead the life cycle management of statistical computing environment (SCE) technology products, collaborating with IT and ensuring fit-for-purpose technology capabilities for advanced quantitative sciences.
  • Oversight of business-as-usual performance of product architecture, including interfaces, symmetry between technologies, data, process, and responsibilities.
  • Define and implement continuous improvement plans for technical performance of products, ensuring compliance with GxP and Novartis computer system validation and quality standards.
  • Partner with development line functions to monitor external landscape for technology, best-in-class practices, and capability trends, informing strategic vision and identifying competitive insights and opportunities.
  • Accountable for audit and inspection readiness for technology products within the domain.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of involvement in clinical research or drug development in a global/matrix environment.
  • Experience with computer programming, cloud-based technologies, and platforms.
  • Thorough knowledge of GxP, IT systems, QA, and regulatory/clinical development process.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications in clinical research.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, digital and technology applications, business insights, and maintaining an enterprise mindset.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and executing high-impact technology and innovation roadmaps.
