Job Title: Theatre Scrub Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at a reputable private hospital in South Kensington, London. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the positioning and preparation of patients for surgical procedures
  • Help to control cross-infection by maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Participate in induction and orientation programmes for new staff
  • Prepare patients for clinical and operative procedures
  • Provide assistance in clinical and operative procedures
  • Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate peri-operative patient care
  • Participate in the delegation and supervision of junior grades, unqualified, and less experienced staff
Requirements:
  • Qualified as an RGN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin
  • Will also accept ODPs with HCPC registration
  • Previous perioperative experience in all-around specialties would be beneficial
