Job Title: Head of People

SeeByte, a global leader in developing smart software solutions for uncrewed maritime systems, is seeking a seasoned HR professional to join their Executive Management Team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive human resource strategy that aligns with the company's growth and delivery roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a HR strategy that supports business goals and long-term development plans
  • Lead cultural transformation initiatives to foster high-performance, positive, and inclusive work environments
  • Design and implement strategies for career development, succession planning, and talent management
  • Develop innovative approaches to recruitment, reward, and recognition to attract and retain top talent
  • Define and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, performance, satisfaction, and retention
  • Provide expert advice to the Executive Management Team on HR-related matters
  • Maintain HR policies and processes that reflect best practices and comply with UK law and regulations
Requirements:
  • Strategic leadership experience with a proven track record of developing and aligning HR strategy with business requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of key people processes, sector trends, and UK employment legislation
  • Experience in leading and delivering successful transformational organizational-level change
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to create a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Coaching and facilitation skills to empower others and build people management capability
  • Effective risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or a degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Business-related subject
