We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assessor to join our team at RISE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS LTD. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a critical role in assessing the impact of disabilities or conditions on an individual's ability to work.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine the effects of their disabilities or conditions on their work life.
- Take detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations to gather accurate information.
- Produce concise and accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).
- Communicate effectively with individuals, both face-to-face and via telephone/video, to ensure a compassionate and sensitive approach.
- Work independently, but as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, to deliver precise assessments.
- Qualifications: NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
- Skills: Strong oral and written communication, IT proficiency, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Attributes: Self-aware, honest, empathetic, and motivated to provide quality customer service.
- Teamwork: Ready to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
