Falcon Green Personnel is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable MEP Manager to oversee service installations for high-value residential projects. The role encompasses managing MEP packages ranging from £50M to £120M, and candidates with either Electrical or Mechanical expertise are encouraged to apply, as training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all service installations, ensuring compliance with client specifications and adherence to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Effectively manage Services Contractors and other relevant Sub-Contractors / Supply Chain Partners.
  • Analyze project data to determine critical sequences and quantify necessary resources for informed management decisions.
  • Review specifications and design drawings, ensuring that service and design decisions align with project requirements.
  • Develop design proposals at various stages, including sketch, detailed design, and production, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and manage Design Team Drawings (e.g., AutoCAD) and related documentation for design and installation.
  • Facilitate communication between the Design Team and Services Subcontractors to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Participate in Client meetings, providing updates on project progress.
  • Organize and lead coordination meetings for Services Subcontractors.
  • Plan and organize site facilities and resources to meet project timelines.
  • Review Subcontractor submissions regarding plant proposals and procurement routes, tracking them as necessary.
  • Inspect and verify the commissioning of MEP systems on-site.
  • Ensure timely submission of the Safety File Data to the Client upon project completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A relevant Engineering degree or diploma in a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Building Services Contractor or Consultant environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler, and Process Systems / Construction is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness and the ability to work independently.
  • A proven track record in managing Residential Projects is essential.
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards is required.
  • Membership in a professional body (e.g., CIBSE) is advantageous.
