Job Title: ESG Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an ESG Manager, driving change and improvement in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) across all operations, internal team, and occupier engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of our ESG roadmap, supporting the team through authentic ESG initiatives and partnerships.
  2. Support integrated social value with a focus on people.
  3. Champion equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  4. Become an ESG resource to occupiers, building relationships, seeking opportunities for partnerships, and growing and developing social value and sustainability networks.
  5. Cultivate relationships with local community partners.
  6. Work with Communications and Community Manager to raise awareness, promote, and celebrate ESG projects.
  7. Assist in delivering quarterly and annual impact reporting.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced ESG professional with a minimum of 3 years of project and technical delivery around sustainability. A degree in a relevant discipline, such as environment, engineering, sustainability, or energy-related subjects, would be an advantage.

Key skills include:

  • Supporting the team and occupiers to prioritize sustainability.
  • Driving internal alignment, engagement, and support for the ESG roadmap.
  • Assisting occupiers to achieve their ESG ambitions and targets.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicating effectively and openly with all levels of MAPP staff, consultants, contractors, and client organizations.
  • Leading on the integration of ESG into team delivery plans, guiding plans to improve overall outcomes and execution of projects.
  • Maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders on broader outcomes, such as digital innovation, resilience, healthy buildings, and whole-life cost.
  • Driving high levels of technical quality delivery where needed, ensuring the production of deliverables to agreed timelines, ESG targets, and within budget.
  • Analyzing data to identify patterns and trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Working with the London Bridge City team to implement projects to reduce adverse environmental or sustainability impacts and realize opportunities for socio-economic gains for occupiers and the client.
  • At times, helping create and deliver behavior change assignments or awareness training to internal staff around ESG technical subject matter.
What We Offer
