Mane Contract Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Safety Engineer to collaborate on innovative solutions within the sectors of Rail, Highways, Power, and Tunnels.

As a Senior Electrical Safety Engineer (SESE), you will hold operational accountability for all electrical standards and safety protocols. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a secure working environment, supervising authorisations, and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and auditing the company's Electrical Safety Guidelines
- Supervising Senior Authorised Persons and Authorised Personnel
- Planning and executing monthly electrical safety evaluations
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety laws and industry benchmarks
- Managing electrical safety documentation and audit timelines
- Coordinating inquiries into electrical incidents
- Conducting HV and LV training sessions
- Recommending specialised PPE and overseeing its application
- Developing and delivering educational programs
- Fostering a culture of transparency, trust, and innovation
- Assisting in subcontractor assessments

What We're Looking For:
- In-depth knowledge of industry and regulatory codes and standards
- Familiarity with High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems
- Capability to accurately evaluate electrical hazards and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Experience with Electrical Safety Management Systems (ESMS)
- Proficiency in Permit-to-Work processes and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
- Strong leadership and management capabilities
- Familiarity with incident documentation systems
- Knowledge of the 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Qualifications Required:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or the potential to achieve this
- Low Voltage Authorised Person Training with LV Switching certification
- SMSS Certification
- HSE training, NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- CSCS Card - AQP or PQP minimum
This position requires travel to various project sites, necessitating flexibility.
