Coordinator for Early Help Review Processes

In the role of **Coordinator for Early Help Review Processes**, you will be integrated into the 0-25 social care service, working in conjunction with the 0-18 social care team. Your primary objective will be to engage directly with disabled children and young individuals, ensuring optimal outcomes through support and inclusion, thereby empowering them to reach their full potential.

This position is part-time, offering flexible working days and hours tailored to the needs of service users. Only current employees of South Gloucestershire Council are eligible to apply. The role is available on a Limited Term Contract or secondment basis for a duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visits to children, facilitate review meetings, and disseminate reports
  • Establish relationships and gain insights into children's experiences
  • Collaborate with various agencies, service providers, and family members
  • Assess and oversee plans for children and families
  • Collect and share pertinent information to guide reviews and evaluations
Essential Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in services for children and young people
  • Experience in a statutory environment working with children and families
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capability to function effectively within a team and adhere to deadlines
  • Familiarity with childcare legislation and risk assessment protocols

All candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Access to a vehicle is necessary for travel to various locations.
