Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cyber Security and Infrastructure Manager to join our team at East Renfrewshire Council. As a key member of the Senior ICT Management Team, you will be responsible for leading the ICT Infrastructure Team and delivering a secure and resilient infrastructure environment to support the delivery of current and future technology needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the ICT Infrastructure Team in delivering a secure and resilient infrastructure environment.
- Co-ordinate the Council's response to any cyber incidents.
- Deploy and proactively manage the end-user device estate while ensuring PSN compliance.
- Develop and implement technical strategies to ensure the Council's information security and digital risk posture.
- Provide guidance and continual professional development to your teams.
- Contribute to the development of the Corporate Digital Strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive technical knowledge of a wide range of technologies, including networking, storage, server administration, active directory, SSCM/Intune, cloud-based technology, and relevant security standards and accreditation requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with people confidently at all levels.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence the Council's information security and digital risk posture.
- Ability to work with highly technical teams to remove barriers to project success.
