About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist - Acute Stroke and Neurology. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in our Acute Stroke Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention to a varied neurological caseload
  • Lead and supervise the learning and development of the stroke therapy team
  • Develop and implement new Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and experience
  • Work closely with other therapy specialties and stakeholders to sustain SSNAP standards
Requirements
  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Experience in stroke and neurology, with a specialist interest in stroke
  • Extensive experience working in an acute health setting and complex discharge planning
  • Leadership and first-line management experience
