About the RoleThis is a pivotal role that requires building and sustaining effective relationships with residents, community groups, local businesses, and public agencies to drive community development and regeneration strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in community engagement and developing long-term relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate, develop, and support practical projects that address environmental, economic, and community needs of the development.
- Create and implement Community Plans, support resident-led forums, and empower communities to enhance their own neighborhoods.
- Build strong relationships with residents, community groups, local businesses, and public agencies to drive community development and regeneration strategies.
- Promote and support projects that advance community cohesion, health and wellbeing, sustainability, social mobility, and employment opportunities.
- Engage with local schools and career advisors to promote construction industry careers, organizing events like assemblies, talks, and apprenticeship fairs.
- Strong background in community engagement and developing long-term relationships with residents and stakeholders.
- Experience engaging with different communities, working with economically deprived communities, and working with and/or within multicultural communities.
