What does the role entail?

We are seeking a dependable and diligent HGV Class 2 Transport Operator to join our team. If you are an HGV or Class 2 driver who values work/life balance and prefers to know your shift patterns in advance, this position may be an excellent fit for you.

Your typical day will commence between 2:00am and 3:00am. You will begin your early morning shift at our facility, conducting vehicle checks and loading your truck with products.

Once your preparations are complete, you will embark on a structured delivery route, transporting goods to various retail locations. After fulfilling your delivery obligations, you will return to the facility to prepare your vehicle for the next day.

This is a full-time, 40-hour permanent position with guaranteed contracted hours, including 45 minutes of paid breaks. We operate on a 7-week rolling shift pattern (including weekends), allowing you to maintain a healthy work/life balance with predictable shift schedules.

As the role involves physical demands and repetitive heavy lifting, we are looking for a physically fit individual who enjoys early mornings and thrives in a routine-driven, fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 License
  • Current CPC certification (all CPC hours included in working week and compensated)
  • Physically capable, as heavy lifting is a key component of the role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability for early morning starts between 2am and 3am
  • Experience is preferred but not mandatory
