Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage the site team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Health, Safety & Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain the highest safety standards and quality control processes to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with the project management team to develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders to foster positive relationships and ensure clear communication.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address challenges on-site, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Contract Management: Assist in the preparation and administration of contracts, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Requirements:
  • Educational Background: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Agent in civil engineering projects, ideally with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring on-site teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Health and Safety: A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring the implementation of best practices on-site.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve project-related challenges swiftly and efficiently.
  • Organizational Abilities: Exceptional planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
