Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in transferring designs and processes to manufacturing partners, ensuring seamless integration and production.
  • Utilize advanced optical experimental methodologies within a laboratory setting to conduct rigorous testing and analysis.
  • Analyze process data meticulously, providing valuable insights and support during failure analysis investigations.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of robust optical processes, enhancing product performance and reliability.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optics, or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience in transferring optical designs to contract manufacturers, demonstrating a strong understanding of the manufacturing process.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Optical and Mechanical design software is required for effective design implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in optical engineering or a closely related field would be highly advantageous.
  • A comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, including their intricacies and potential challenges.
  • Experience with mechanical design and prototyping, enabling the creation of functional prototypes for testing and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of display testing and image quality evaluation techniques to ensure optimal visual performance.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR systems and micro displays, showcasing a deep understanding of emerging technologies in the field.
  • Expertise in Polarizing and Diffractive Optics, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation in optical principles.
  • Software experience with Python or LabView would be beneficial for data analysis and automation tasks.
