Job Title: Employability Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability Tutor to join our team at LT Selection. As an Employability Tutor, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering engaging teaching sessions to adult learners, helping them to develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality teaching sessions that cater to the diverse needs of adult learners.
  • Conduct initial assessments and use this information to inform teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.
  • Provide comprehensive Careers Information, Education, Advice, and Guidance (CIEAG) to learners, tailoring learning plans to meet individual needs.
  • Deliver thorough assessments and constructive feedback to learners, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the safety of learners online and help them develop essential digital skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective learning programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/Cert ED or equivalent).
  • L3 Assessor Award or equivalent.
  • GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or FS Level 2.
  • IAG Level 2 or willingness to work towards obtaining it.
  • Proficient ICT skills.
  • Experience working with unemployed adults in an educational environment.
  • Ability to design and deliver innovative teaching sessions.
  • Understanding of initial assessment processes and ability to differentiate teaching methods.
