We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to become part of our Orthopaedic Therapy Team as Therapy Support Practitioners. In this role, you will assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal injuries, collaborating closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Your contributions will be vital in conducting patient evaluations, devising, and executing strategies to facilitate their recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and document information from patients and their families/caregivers
- Oversee a patient caseload, delivering therapy and rehabilitation services
- Design and implement strategies to help patients reach their rehabilitation objectives
- Enhance patient flow within the facility through prompt assessments and discharge planning
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department
Applicants should possess a Degree/Foundation Degree or equivalent expertise and skills. Previous experience in health and therapy teams is essential, along with familiarity in a therapy or rehabilitation support role. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are crucial, as is the capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
