Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a 6-year-old boy with autism in accessing local community activities and engaging in his favorite hobbies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the child in exploring the local community, including trampolining, soft play, parks, and adventure playgrounds
  • Support the child in accessing activities that promote his interests and development
  • Provide personalized care and supervision to ensure the child's safety and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with the child using gestures and sounds
  • Work collaboratively with the child's family and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support plan

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with autism and challenging behaviors
  • Resilience and a good level of fitness
  • Preferably a car driver
