We are seeking a Senior Market Analyst specializing in the red meat sector to operate in a hybrid work environment, balancing time between our headquarters and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the research and analysis of red meat market data, delivering insights and intelligence to stakeholders.
- Establish yourself as a key figure in AHDB analysis, serving as a primary contact for industry stakeholders and government entities.
- Ensure that analysts produce relevant insights that directly influence levy payer decisions, with clear communication of findings.
- Mentor and support analysts focusing on agricultural economics and market trends.
- Innovate and develop new concepts that challenge conventional thinking and guide industry strategy.
- Collaborate with management to define departmental analysis direction and address key industry issues.
- Manage significant analytical projects and act as a role model for high-level analytical skills.
- Utilize your expertise to enhance divisional outputs and strategies.
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Agriculture, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in delivering impactful economic and market analysis, preferably in the red meat sector.
